What happens to the mess afterward?

Tree trimming and removal can be a messy process, often leaving behind brush, debris, and sawdust. However, our team ensures every job site is left as clean—if not cleaner—than when we arrived. We take great pride in our work, with client satisfaction as our top priority. Cleanup and debris removal are always included unless you request otherwise.

What is the cost of tree removal and trimming?

The price of tree removal, trimming, and emergency tree services varies based on several factors, such as the tree's size, health, location, and the complexity of the work required. For an accurate estimate tailored to your needs, let Salas Tree Service assess the situation and provide you with a detailed quote.

When is the best time to prune or trim your trees?

This is one of our most frequently asked questions! The answer depends on several factors, including the type of tree, the season, and your specific goals. Are you aiming to improve tree health, enhance its appearance, or prioritize flowering and fruit production?
In many cases, trees in the southern region can be pruned year-round, provided you’re not concerned about disrupting their flowering or fruiting cycles. If you’re unsure about the ideal timing for your trees, our team is here to provide expert advice tailored to your unique needs. Don’t hesitate to reach out for professional guidance!

Do you provide mowing or landscaping services?

Not at this time. We focus exclusively on professional tree care—trimming, removal, and maintenance.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, checks, and credit cards (please note that card payments may incur a small fee). Payment is not required upfront, and we encourage you to be cautious of tree service providers that demand advance payments.

Is stump grinding necessary, and what can you expect afterward?

Stump grinding is optional but highly recommended if you want to enhance the appearance of your yard or landscaping. During the process, stumps are typically ground 6-12 inches below the surface, leaving behind a mound of dense wood chips. We can either level the pile for a smoother finish or remove the stump chips entirely, based on your preference.

I don’t think a bucket truck can reach my tree. Can it still be trimmed or removed?

Absolutely. If a bucket truck cannot access your tree, our skilled climbers will handle the job. With years of experience and exceptional expertise, they can safely and efficiently climb and work on trees of all sizes. In certain situations, we may also bring in a crane if necessary. Rest assured, we have the tools and knowledge to get the job done right.

How long does tree trimming or removal take?

The duration of tree work depends on several factors, such as the tree's size, health, location, and the scope of the job. Our well-equipped teams, typically consisting of four skilled crew members, can complete most projects within a single day.
